M/s. Ceasefire has developed an anti theft mechanism for fire extinguisher which consists of wire around the fire extinguisher end and other end passes through hooter switch. Any lifting of fire extinguisher will in turn activate the hooter through wire. Since this is not fool proof. an alternate system has been developed in-house by Madurai division.
